7-Day Furniture is looking for energetic, courteous, professional, and highly motivated, physically fit, customer service oriented people for our Lincoln Warehouse crew.
General Summary: This position primarily responsible for assembling furniture, unloading trucks, assisting customers with orders and other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager with inventory control, merchandise assembly and clean up, light paper work and computer data entry.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
1. Responsible for providing courteous and professional service to customers
2. Responsible for the preparation of price tags and assembling of merchandise in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
3. Communicate effectively with Customers and Warehouse Manager regarding the merchandise, customer concerns, or problems with the truck.
4. Load and unload delivery trucks.
5. Maintain a clean and pleasant work environment in the warehouse and showroom floor.
6. Supports and uphold company policy.
7. Operates all company vehicles in a respectful, responsible and safe manner.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge of furniture industry and proper lifting/handling techniques (a plus, but not required)
2. Knowledge or Retail Wharehouse and Operations
3. Personal Computer skills
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
6. Able to lift up to 100lbs and stand for long periods of time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school education or equivalent. One year experience in a customer service with a retail corporation.
Expierence moving heavy items such as furniture.
